Due to the fact my post was two months,I'd worked that one out for myself.Good job it wasn't an emergency.
The Approach Z30 was not announced yet when you initially posted your question, as the update to your device was made with the addition to the Sensors & Accessories menu prior to the release of the Z30. I am currently going back through some of these older posts I realized I had not responded to your question.
My apologies on the delay in response, and hopefully my response will make others aware if they are searching through the threads with the same question.
- Thanks
Thanks anyway,I have since bought a z30 and it is excellent.
Very well thought out product.

When the flag or other targets are lasered on the hole, the watch will display the arc per the Range Relay feature.
Will this be coming for the Z82?

It's important to note that the Approach Z82 provides every feature that is available when the Approach Z30 is paired to the Garmin Golf app or when paired to a Garmin Golf compatible GPS device. The only difference is that the Approach Z82 does not require pairing to another device to provide the arc on the hole layout, as it will display along with the front, middle, back distances when looking through the viewfinder.
That is helpful. I was just wondering if once I laser the pin with my z82, if it will update the distances on my watch. That would be nice. I will kick off the round on my phone, put that away and use the watch + z82.
