If you have shoes set in the Gear section of Garmin Connect, you can add the shoes to the activity that is recorded separately from the scorecard.
On your watch, hold the UP/MENU button from the time screen > Select Activities & Apps > Select Golf > Golf Settings > Make sure "Record Activity" is set to on.
The scorecard from the round will sync over to the Garmin Golf app, and then in the Garmin Connect app, you will see an activity as well recorded from the round. You can then add your shoes to the activity by adding it from Gear.
