S60 not pairing with Golf App

I have paired the S60 with Garmin Connect, however it will not pair with the Golf App?

I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling, rebooting the phone and watch but to no avail?

I seems to be connecting and getting half way through the cycle but stops?

Can anybody help?

  • Please uninstall both the Garmin Golf app and Garmin Connect app. 

    Go into your phone's Bluetooth settings and unpair/forget the Approach device.

    On the watch: Press Menu button > Select Settings > System > Restore Defaults > Yes

    Once the watch is asking to pair with phone, download the Garmin Golf app (sign in) and the Garmin Connect app (sign in).

    In the Garmin Connect app, press More (iOS) or 3 bar menu icon (Android) and select Garmin Devices > Add a Device.

    On the watch, make sure it is ready to pair or in pairing mode and follow the rest of the prompts in the Garmin Golf app. 

    Allow all permissions when prompted. 

    The watch should now be connected in both apps.
