Approach S62 will not sync fully with Garmin Golf app on iOS

Hi,

I see other people have also had this issue, but there seems to be no concrete resolution.

I have a new Approach S62, and it will not sync properly via the Golf App. The message is almost always "Sync Failed - Server Error".

It sync my golf scores, but not the details on clubs or distances on each hole.

It syncs some of my activities but not all.

I have tried:

- connecting it via the Garmin Connect App. It doesn't send any extra data when sync'd via here.

- connecting it vai the Garmin Express app on both Windows and Mac. It does not sync any additional data.

- reseting the watch and deleting all data, and re-installing the Golf App from scratch. The same error appears the first time I try to sync it.

It is so frustrating. The promise of the watch is fantastic, but it's failure to sync ruins the entire experience. It is NOT cheap and I am getting really frustrated by this and the seeming inability to fix it.


Please help.
