Garmin golf won’t get data from S62. Gives me a server error.

When I go to the device screen in GG and try to sync it gives me Sync Failed, Server error”. I have deleted both Garmin golf and Garmin connect and reinstalled, as well as multiple power resets of phone and watch. I am using an iPhone on current iOS, watch is current, and both Garmin apps are current.

Also had Garmin connect issues on phone, but resolved with 4.41.1

  • I have the same issue with my vivoactive watch.  I can connect the watch to the phone and download the course, then I play my round with the golf app on the watch.  But when I try to sync it to my iphone after the round, the data doesn't come into the phone app.  The watch still has the data and the watch will show my score, number of putts, fairways hit, etc., but it does not show up on the garmin golf app on my phone, so I can't see how far my shots went.  It doesn't happen all the time.  About 4 out of 5 rounds will appear on my phone, but 1 out of 5 don't show up.

I am having the exact same issue with a new Approach S62..I have reinstalled all Apps, deleted all data and reset the watch and yet it still happens virtually every time I try and sync. Of 5 golf games, only 1 has successfully sent the data for the actual clubs used and distances on each hole. The scores however sync everytime even though it shows a server error.
