Approach S62 not working with Garmin connect

After the recent iOS app update to Garmin Connect, my watch will not connect to the app. I have it connected and synced to the Garmin golf app, but the device is not showing in connect anymore. I tried the following to no avail.
Reset watch 
Deleted all Garmin apps from my phone 
Reinstalled all garmin apps
Connected to garmin golf again 
Won't connect to garmin connect 

This happened at about the same time that the app was updated.

Please advise

  • I've got the exactly same issues!

    Since the latest update to Garmin Connect 4.41 I have trouble when the connection iPhone <--> S62 is lost once. For example when I shut down my phone during sleep and restart it the next morning or when I had started an activity (playing Golf) then the connection does not re-establish anymore. When I hardly try to disconnect and reconnect in all variaties the watch and the phone via Gamrin Golf and then Garmin Connect mobile it seemed that works.... but only until the next reboot of the phone or watch.

    For me it seems that the communication between Gamrin Golf and Gamrin Connect Mobile also does not work properly.

    After reinstalling both apps and try to connect the watch from the very beginning I didn't get the watch connected to Gamrin Mobile at all.

    Although, the data seems to be synced via Gamrin Golf(??) and is shown more or less in the Gamrin connect mobile app.

    It's all a bit weird for me to understand.

    With Garmin Connect mobile 4.40 it worked pretty fine. And I changed nothing else, neither the watch has a new software version nor my iPhone nor Garmin Golf. The problem has to be at the Connect mobile app.

    Please fix this asap. I have my watch no longer than 5 days and it already doesn't work properly anymore. Disappointed

  • We released an update to the Connect app to resolve this issue. Please follow the steps in the support article linked below for steps on updating your app.
