How to do gross score tracking while playing

I have an S40. I noticed during my round today the watch was displaying my net score to handicap rather than 72 gross score. So a pair became -1 to in total score rather than E.

Anyway to change this to my Total score for the round so far is gross score rather than net score?

Make sure you change your Approach S40 Golf settings before your next round if you don't the handicap scoring to be in effect. The scorecard you want to modify, go to www.garminconnect.com and you should be able to adjust your scorecard online.

Where and how can I change the setting in S40? I wasn't able to find it.

Go to Golf Settings > Scoring Method > and set it to Stroke Play. Also, make sure the Handicap Scoring is set to Off.

This is exactly the setting I have on my S40. After the round, it does have the whole gross score. The issue is during the round when S40 puts a circle on my 4 of a par 4 and Total is -1.

If your Approach S40 is giving you handicap scoring despite your settings being turned off for handicap scoring, you can try resetting it to see if it clears up the issue. - Deleting Data and Resetting Settings.
