Months of Silence on Detailed Course Update Request – This is Unacceptable

Several months ago, I submitted a very detailed request to update the course where I regularly play, including specific changes to slopes, tees, and hole handicaps. To this day, I have received zero response from Garmin.

For comparison, I submitted the exact same update request to The Grint, and the course was fully updated within one week.

This level of delay is unjustifiable. Garmin sells a premium product specifically focused on golf, yet users have no effective way to get basic course information corrected. Even more frustrating is the lack of any self-service tools. We can add hazards manually, but we cannot update critical scorecard data such as:

  • Course slope
  • Tee information and slope per tee
  • Hole handicaps

If the Garmin team is not going to respond to user requests, we should at least be given the ability to make these essential corrections ourselves.

I hope this post reaches the developers. This situation needs to improve.
