Approach S62 not syncing to Google Pixel Phone

This is a recent issue and now very frustrating. Every time I try to connect via Bluetooth on my phone it shows a pairing number for a few seconds then it goes away. Multiple attempts will not connect. I have followed all the steps. Even rebooted (reset) my watch. Nothing. Help.  

  • The following steps are recommended as outlined below: 

    1. Turn Bluetooth off on your smartphone. 
    2. Then open the Garmin Golf app > Navigate to Profile > My Devices > Select your Approach S62. 
    3. On the next screen, remove the device by tapping the 3 vertical dots in the upper right > Close out of the Garmin Golf app. 
    4. Then power cycle your watch off and back on. 
    5. Open the Garmin Golf app > Profile > My Devices. 
    6. Put your actual watch in pairing mode through Settings > Phone > Tap "Pair Phone". 
    7. Then select the Add Device option in the Garmin Golf app > Follow the prompts and reconnect your watch. 

    If you still are unable to re-add your watch through the Garmin Golf app:

    1. Uninstall and reinstall the Garmin Golf app.
    2. Allow the required permissions that prompt once the app is reinstalled. 
    3. Then follow the steps for adding your watch in the Garmin Golf app after putting your watch in pairing mode.
