Garmin recommends checking your shot data after each round to avoid having to search through a bunch of scorecards to keep on top of your data accuracy in case any shots were mistakenly recorded too long while golfing to avoid incorrect distances attributing to your shot max and averages for each club.
Hi, thanks for getting back to me. It’s how you identify which round has the max distance that is the problem. I would thinks it usefully to go to each club and it show me what round i hit my longest drive. This would also show times when i have not finished the round correctly and my 7iron has just hit a ball 25 miles ( my journey from coarse to home). Please say im not the only person that has done this. Pease add your support if you see this as a common problem. Data bases are great at high lighting trends and get increasingly useful as they get more data. With more data comes the issue of finding data that squews results.
thanks again
Roy
I understand you are wanting an option to more easily identify which scorecard recorded the max distance.
I will forward your feedback, and at this time Garmin recommends following the editing steps outlined on our support page linked here: Editing AutoShot Information With the Garmin Golf App
There are not any announcements regarding this option becoming available
This has happened with me Roy.
My 9 iron says 245 yards as I accidentally clicked it instead of Driver on a rainy round, or so I think.
I have searched all my rounds and I cannot track it!
I will happily join your campaign to view individual shot data inside the “Club Stats” it would absolutely improve the app!
