Garmin Golf Performance Stats completely empty

It looks like Performance Stats have some type of back end issue. I have dozens of rounds logged from my watch into the Garmin Golf app, but suddenly last week the performance stats section is blank and tells me to upload a scorecard to get started.

Even if I follow the prompt and manually upload a scorecard, that screen stays exactly the same. Tried all the usual suspects of clearing cash, storage, deleting the app so on and so forth but can't get performance stats to show. Even tried on a couple different devices, I have the app on and it all shows the same thing.

  • I'm glad I'm not the only one that has been dealing with this. I reached out to the Garmin Golf team to get some answers because I previously had stats and a handicap calculated. Just like you, I have multiple scorecards uploaded but I am unable to see any info under "Performance Stats." The person I reached out to told me my issue was being forwarded to the engineering team and I would receive an update at some point. It's been two weeks and I have not received any updates yet.

Sounds like another issue that will take some time to resolve.

  • Yes I have a ticket and have been given an open-ended timetable and no insight into the cause. It's been 3+ months already. I'm actually pretty disappointed with the help and alternatives I've been presented during this. Garmin usually has had top-notch support but this experience is definitely changing my view, unfortunately.

  • Garmin is in the process of working on a fix for this concern.

Yes, this concern has taken a few months so far to investigate and there is not a timeframe as to when a fix will become available.

Our team is working on getting this resolved and we apologize about the inconvenience in the meantime.

There will not be any additional information until we have a solution to offer, so users added to the ticket have not received a response yet because the issue is still in-process of having a fix released.

  • Thank you very much for the response and acknowledging this has taken a very long time. While I appreciate there is no update, sometimes that is in fact an update worth sharing more regularly with the affected users. The long gaps of not hearing anything have given the appearance that this issue is low priority and not actively being worked on.

Hearing that the cause still has not been found makes it clear this is a very low priority. To make matters worse, no one has even researched potential workarounds for the time being. We're just left without the core functionality of the Garmin Golf app.

As someone fully in the Garmin ecosystem, considering an R50, I can safely say this experience has me moving away. While I hope to hear a positive update, at this point I'm not expecting one any time soon.
