Using S42 with CT10 sensors. Some putts clearly made on the green are marked outside it in the Garmin Golf app. I can't set the lie to "Green" even after moving the marker well inside the green. The option stays grayed out. Please advise.

  1. Hi,

I'm using the Garmin Golf app together with an Approach S42 watch and CT10 sensors, and I’ve encountered an issue when editing some shots.

Several putts that were clearly made on the green—both in real life and based on their position on the course map in the app—are being marked as off the green. When I try to edit these shots, the “Green” lie option is disabled (grayed out), even though the putter was used and the shot marker is visibly on the green.

I’ve tried adjusting the location of the shot marker well within the green boundaries, but the app still won’t allow me to select “Green” as the lie. I’ve attached a screenshot showing this issue.

  2. Also Ive seen that some of my approaches were auto tagged as "green" when being obviously on the fairway/rough and not even close from the green.

  3. Anyone knows how I can resolve it? Ty!

  • Same here, these are some of the limitations of Garmin golf, it has to do with GPS, as it is not 100% accurate sometimes it will put you outside of the green or in the green with shots being made outside. What I don't know why it takes so long is to Garmin allow us to edit where the stroke was made. This make statistics unreliable.
