Clearing club data

I have been using an old Vivoactive 3 and not worrying too much about my club distances being recorded, only tracking my scores. I have now just got an Epix 2 and would like ot tract my shots with it around the course. While using the Vivoactive it auto tract random shots, is there a way to clear this data? Ideally I would like to keep all my scorecards and handicap data.

  • It's not possible if you want to keep your scorecards.

  • You can retire your current set of clubs that reflect distances tracked from your previous watch.

Then setup a new bag of clubs, of which I recommend nicknaming for your new watch. You can then begin tracking them based on your new scorecards going forward.

The other option is to select the "Exclude from performance stats" switch on each individual scorecard to prevent the distances from applying towards your clubs.

  • I have a shot with a sandwedge that somehow recorded at 400+ yards. I deleted the shot in the garmin golf app, but it still reflects my longest hit with my sandwedge. What am I missing here?
