Hallo Support,

nach mehreren E-Mail an Garmin ohne Rückmeldung versuche ich es hier nochmal.

Wieso steht die Garmin Golf App nicht für Android Tablets zur Verfügung?

Ich habe den R10 und habe letztes Jahr noch ein IPad genutzt. ( auf dem Smartphone ist die Darstellung zu klein)

Leider ist das IPAD kaputt gegangen. Deshlab habe ich mir ein Samsung Tablet gekauft um dies auf der Range nutzen zu können.

Da die App für Android Smartphones zur Verfüung steht, bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass ich es auch mit einem Tablet nutzen kann.

Leider ist das nicht der Fall. Gibt es einen bestimmten Grund, wieso die App nicht zur Verfügung steht?

Mit einem Tablet ist es einfach viel besser als auf einem kleinen Smartphone.

    after several emails to Garmin with no response, I'm trying again here.

    Why is the Garmin Golf app not available for Android tablets?

    I have the R10 and was still using an iPad last year. (the display is too small on the smartphone)

    Unfortunately, the iPad broke. So I bought a Samsung tablet so that I could use it on the range.

    As the app is available for Android smartphones, I assumed that I would also be able to use it with a tablet.

    Unfortunately, this is not the case. Is there a specific reason why the app is not available?

    It's simply much better on a tablet than on a small smartphone.

    Which email? I've used [email protected] many times. Usually get a response within 3 business days.

    I noticed this too. I can install the app on my android phone, but not on my android tablet. However, as a workaround it is possible to install version 2.18.1 from apkmirror, which bypasses using the Google Play Store. Of course this is not supported by Garmin, so do this at your own risk. I recommend continuing to attempt to reach out to Product Support through their website at https://support.garmin.com. or using the email address [email protected]. That way this can be officially supported on Android tablets.

    Also, note that Garmin does have a notice on their support site - I'm Unable to Locate and Download a Garmin App on My Mobile Device

    Garmin apps may be incompatible or unavailable to download for some devices due to a variety of factors and limitations. These factors could range from the performance of your device, the screen resolution, Android/iOS version differences, and regional or country restrictions. If the app is not available for download, or you are receiving an error when attempting to download the app, then you will want to look at the requirements for your specific app.

    The Garmin Golf app is also not with iPad use, however some users may be able to search and download the Garmin Golf app in the iOS App Store on an iPad. Use with iPads are not supported and may result in disruptions using on the iPad.
