Why are penalties not on scorecard

Why are penalties not on scorecard

  • Penalties entered through the Stat Tracking prompt at the end of each hole help determine if additional strokes detected from the tee box or near the same shot location on a hole were due to two actual strokes needing attributed to the score...or if the shot detected was due to a practice swing.

At this time penalties are obviously not referenceable from the scorecard per the current design features, and Garmin is in the process of reviewing customer reports for those wanting this metric displayed when viewing the scorecard. Requests for penalties to be referenceable from the scorecard shall be reviewed for potential future improvements and additions to Garmin products. The feedback is appreciated!

  • Penalty strokes available in scorecards as well as statistics (where I also cannot find any penalties) are crucial when it comes to tracking overall performance and looking for areas of improvement in my golf game. Having looked at other solutions I can't see any of those missing this metric. Please make this a priority in coming app updates.

  • How was this feature left out?   In addition to being able to indicate sand shots?   Any good golf scorecard app has these.
