Unable to load courses

Hi,

live just got a new pixel 8 phone and my venue 2 won’t download courses now.

On my garmin golf app I’ve downloaded my local course. It’s showing as an offline course. The app shows my venue2 as connected and will sync. 
when I open golf on my venue2 and pick up satellites it says downloading courses. It then displays Download Courses from garmin connect. No courses show up. I only have the one downloaded course in my golf app.

I’ve removed and restored the garmin golf app. I’ve reset the Venue2 and reconnected.

Can anyone help please?

  • I'm having a similar issue with my Venu 2, but on iOS 17. Twice in the last three weeks I have completely reset my watch to get my courses to download...

  • The courses for the Venu 2 need to be downloaded through the Garmin Connect mobile application's "Download Golf Courses" menu in the app.

    Downloaded the courses through the Garmin Golf app will not work, as the Venu 2 is not a Garmin Golf app compatible device for syncing.

    Once the courses have been installed through the Garmin Connect mobile app, make sure the Garmin Connect mobile app is open at the time the golf round is being started, and ensure the sky is directly above with no building, trees, or other obstructions to blocking the signal.
