samsung galaxy s22 garmin golf holes blacked out

Hi,

I'm probably doing something wrong

The scorecard holes when I'm on course are blacked out on my phone screen, when I look at the pick hole menu, the holes appear properly but when I choose the hole everything is blacked out apart from trees.

it worked fine on my samsung s20.

is there a setting I've clicked? i've tried clearing cache and data, uninstalling and reinstalling.

any solutions?

The Venu 2 is not compatible with live scoring through the Garmin Golf app and will not sync up in the manner. Hole information is not designed to display with that specific watch, as it does not sync…

I have the same problem on my S22 - it renders the app useless on the golf course, I purchased the Venu 2 plus to use alongside the garmin golf app and it`s a very poor result if it can not work properly on an S22 - they are not even an old phone

The Venu 2 is not compatible with live scoring through the Garmin Golf app and will not sync up in the manner. Hole information is not designed to display with that specific watch, as it does not sync up with the Garmin Golf app like the Venu 3 series and other non-Approach series Garmin Golf devices.

If using the Garmin Golf app while golfing with the Venu 2, the Garmin Golf app will only offer basic score keeping features without any additional information displayed in the app unless a Garmin Golf app compatible device is synced up to the Golf app.

S22 + g12 (compatible device) black useless holes as reported many times. Glad I only paid £100+ for this instead of many times more for a golf watch which is incompatible with leading android mobiles. This does work on an iPhone but that's not the point!
