Functional Blockers, Bugs and Missing Features (as of 2.13.1)

Hi, I am a software engineer, and I've been golfing for about 5 years now, and I wanted to report a number of feature requests, bugs, and problematic workflows/critical-paths. I understand the list is very exhaustive, but I hope your engineering team finds them helpful. It seems like some of the software engineers maybe don't use the app much, or perhaps don't golf, so aren't aware of some of the really problematic issues with some of the UX/UI flows.

Android App Missing Features (as of 2.13.1)

1. Hole Maps should show ravines & gullies
2. There should be a "Club Statistics" section instead of just "My Bag". Meaningful club performance statistics are missing:
   1. You should be able to compare sets of clubs or 1 club against another (old 7i vs new 7i)
   2. Longest Shot, Shortest Shot, Average Shot
   3. Average GIR with club
   4. Directional Tendency (most shots go LEFT, RIGHT, SHORT, LONG)
   5. Average Penalties w/ Club
   6. "Strokes Gained" shot distribution should be easier to find. Shot distribution chart should provide grouping circle (see trackman, toptracer, etc. for examples)
   7. LISTING OF ALL SHOTS TAKEN WITH CLUB USED TO CALCULATE STATISTICS (MUST BE EDITABLE!)
3. Scorecard view Hole Listing at bottom of screen only displays SHOTS, but not putts...(even though the scorecard above does???)
4. Scorecard view should display: Lost Balls, Out-of-Bounds, Longest Tee Shot, Longest Approach, "Best Hole", "Worst Hole"
5. Course Stats view should tell you / graph your performance trend on FRONT 9, BACK 9 and FULL so you know if your performance is improving or declining over time
6. "My Bag" Color for Club should be selectable
7. "My Bag" should allow you to configure the shaft material (Steel, Composite)
8. "My Bag" is missing common "Approach Wedge" club type
9. "My Bag" does not allow you to configure the brand/manufacturer of a club
10. There should be a way for you to email a player to request that they ATTEST A ROUND. Without this, it is not possible to keep score only with Garmin golf if you submit your handicaps to USGA, CPGA, UKGA, MyEG)
11. "Performance Stats" should display:
    1. Graph of Handicap Performance/Change over time
    2. "Strokes Gained" should graph performance over time. (currently is shows "Improving" or "declining" which isn't helpful without context of the timeframe)

Android App Bugs / Functional Blockers (as of 2.13.1)

1. There is no way to edit the DATE of an existing scorecard
2. There is no way to set the START or END times of a round
3. There is no way to VIEW the SLOPE RATING OF A COURSE
4. There is no way to edit a courses SLOPE RATING if the slope is presumed to be incorrect
5. There is no easy way to REPORT an incorrect SLOPE RATING or other course issue (incorrect maps, tee configurations, etc.) from the App. 
6. There is no way to view what rounds are being used to calculate your HANDICAP and what SLOPES were used. 
7. There is no way to configure that you PICKED UP on a hole during a game. 
8. Course Statistics view is MISSING a FRONT 9 tab. Only FULL and BACK 9 (this is incorrect, as some 9-hole rounds on an 18 hole course are FRONT 9)
9. Course Stats view incorrectly shows DRIVE accuracy. However, many tee shots are not "Drives" and do not use the Driver (even on par 4, 5). Should be "Teebox Accuracy", and allow you to switch clubs.
10. Course Stats view does not provide SHORT of fairway statistics. This is a blocker, as non-pga professionals (e.g. mid-high handicap amateurs) will miss short on long par 4,5. 
11. "Average Score", "Average GIR" and "Average Putts Per Hole" chart in Course Statistics is NOT SELECTABLE, so only the midpoint is visible. You cannot select the dots representing other scores, and the chart only displays the low and high ends on the X axis. Makes these charts pretty useless.
12. "PPH" and "GIR" statistics on Course Stats View are not defined, and have no informational icon or pop-over. Very unintuitive for new players
13. There is no way to fix broken statistics in "My Bag", because there is no view to edit club statistics. This means that for average golfers, the "My Bag" statistics are likely to be wildly incorrect. Only way to even come close to fixing this (which doesn't even seem to work half thr time) is to scroll through every hole, on every single scorecard and see if you can locate bad data. (This is 18 holes x dozens of games a year x shots over par = THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS OF SHOTS).
14. "Avg" and "Max" columns in "My Bag" are missing distance unit (yards? feet? meters?). 
15. "Avg" and "Max" column names in "My Bag" are now misaligned in vertical view with the column data (Samsung S20).
16. "My Bag" incorrectly assumes a faulty range of lofts for different types of clubs. Even some of the basic models of clubs from Callaway, Taylormade do not match up with the lofts listed. The Loft should be configurable.
17. When attempting to select a club from the "Approach" section in the "Shots Overview" within "Performance Stats", certain clubs, like woods and drivers are missing, even though it is possible to make approach shots with these clubs
18. When selecting a club in any tab in the "Shots Overview" within "Performance Stats",  "Unknown Club" will show up, but it is not possible to determine what round or rounds a club was not selected (a user may have hundreds of rounds, and will have thousands upon thousands of shots).

Golf  Watch App Missing Features (Vivo Active, but should apply to most watches)

1. Hazards List on all models of watch that support hazards should show Ravines/Gullies as Hazards
2. Hole information for ALL WATCH MODELS should show "Plays Like" and indicate what club is recommended given the weather
3. ALL WATCH MODELS should allow you to select if you hit LEFT, RIGHT, MIDDLE or SHORT of the fairway. Currently Vivo does not allow for a "SHORT" option!
4. ALL WATCH MODELS should allow you to select if you LOST a ball and are taking a DROP (basically indicate a penalty stroke)

Golf Watch App Bugs (Vivo Active, but should apply to most watches)

1. Certain special characters that are supported in the Android App (like  ² and  ⁰ ) are missing from the watch app's character set, resulting in a square [] showing up (custom club names)
2. When selecting a club, clubs appear to be incorrectly listed in alphabetical order instead of by loft. If your nickname for a wood starts with "E" like "Epic Flash", then its possible to have your 3 wood show up below your irons. 
3. Club Listing does not display a short-hand including club type (e.g. 7i, 4W, 3H, PW, SW, GW, AW, D) when the "Nickname" field is used, meaning clubs with the same or similar nicknames are impossible to differentiate during club selection.
