S60/ Garmin Golf Android sync problem.

Same thing is happening to me lately. Never happened before. I think it's a bug 

I have the same problem with S62.  Nothing works:  restarting phone, force closing app, synching watch. 

The latest update to the Android app seems to have fixed it: version 2.11.2. I have only played one round since updating but it finally worked correctly. The developer also replied to my specific complaint about this and said it should be fixed now.

Thanks for the update. I played on the 13th and didn't have the problem. It must have updated without my knowing.

No - I have 2.11.2, and the problem persisted. I did a reinstall of the app and that sorted things out.

I am on that version and still having the problem.  It eventually stops saying that I'm playing the round, but I haven't found anything that forces it to stop doing it.

Did the reinstall cause any lost data?

I didn't lose any data.

I spoke too soon - the problem reoccurred after the next round of golf. The save/ resume did nothing, so I attempted to discard (with the intention of resenting from the watch). After the resync, the scorecard was back but I had lost all the shot details 

This is a very annoying bug that has been plaguing me for weeks now. I eventually solved it, no thanks to Garmin. I'm not sure which of these actually fixed it or if it was a combination of them.

Obviously make sure your firmware is up to date (mine was, so this wasn't the cause)

1. Connect your watch to your PC. Go to the drive it creates and navigate to the scorecard folder. Delete all files in this folder. 

2. Uninstall the app on your phone. Then reinstall it. It will ask you if you want to turn on smart notifications. Don't turn them on and say no.

Your watch and app should now work fine until Garmin figure out what the problem is. They do take they're time though.
