Hello garmin team and developers,
i am using the garmin approach r10 with my android phone and i am quiet satisfied with the device and its features, but i would like to give you some hints which i think is not hard to implement but would be a great benefit for a better usability.
First thing what i am struggling is the customization of the display in the mode "Driving Range". While you can change the data fiedls in at the range and data screen, i can not on the impact screen. I like the impact screen most because it gives a nice visualization of the most important values, but what i really miss is the clubhead speed (and maybe smash factor) on that screen and i found no way to change the fields. If it is not that easy to make that fields also changable, maybe you put that data instead of Backspin oder Sidespin data which is first a calculated value and in my opinion not that important then clubhead speed or it fits somewhere on that really nice screen.
Another nice feature would be when it would be able to swipe between the different modes (range, data, impact) with a swipe to the left or right instead of always going back in the menu to the change screen.
When i want to take a closer look at the data of my last session (in german it is called Golfsimulatiorsitzungen) that menu point should be on the main screen and not hidden in the menu. I think most player who buys that tool are really interested in the analysis of their data on and off the range, so that it is often used and should not be hidden in the menu.
When you are in that mode and you want to go through your shots it would be really helpful when you could swipe through your shots on every screen, for example to go to the next shot in impact mode you swipe to the right. Now it is very uncomfortable to switch between shots because you always have to go back in the menu and slide up the list of shots from the bottom of the screen (which then is also not a comfortable solution) and choose the next one and in addition when you choose a special club, i.e. the driver to reduce the number of shots in the list than that chosen setting gets always lost, which is also a little bit unlucky solution.
For people like me who really appreciate the accuracy of the data to analyze their swings and shots (i think the most user use it for that) these would be small changes that would increase the usability a lot.
I hope you find my comment usefull and i would be more then happy when i found them implemented in a feature version of your nice software.
Thanks a lot and kind regards
Thomas
