App Automatically Selecting Driver for Club Prompt

For shots where a club is not selected, (i.e. you shoot and press back button instead of selecting a club), the app has now defaulted to selecting Driver for those shots.

Personally, I don't select a club for partial shots or chips because it would bring the average distance down unnecessarily.

Example below:

7 iron was used for the tee shot. I pressed "back" for the chip onto the green. App has automatically assigned Driver.

Check your prior rounds - I see this issue now for all my rounds. Everywhere where club was not selected either via club prompt, or after the round in the app/web you will see label 'D'...

This is happening to me as well. I don't remember this always being the case.

Also I have noticed that if you log onto garmin connect on your PC, it will show "unknown" for these shots. However, they all seem to show up when I look at my "drive" statistics. I'm basing this on the fact that there are a multitude about 25 yard drives shown on the graphic, which can only be there because garmin is now by default assigning all unknown shots as driver shots.

Unfortunately, I do not see that garmin is very aggressive about resolving this issue, or any of the other program issues that i've been following over the years. Seems they are only interested in what sells gps unitis.
