How do I view my driving range sessions on the garmin connect dashboard on the web

I have recently bought a Garmin R10 launch monitor and it appears to be working fine with the Android mobile app.  What I don;t seem to be able to find out how to do is sync my practice sessions with the web so I can review on the garmin web dashboard.  When I look at the web dashboard I can see a sync option which tells me I need to go to the mobile app and sync, but I don;t seem to be able to find anywhere an option to do this.  If you select the Garmin R10 device, there is a sync option there, but after selecting it, nothing appears in the garmin dashboard.

  • This currently isn't an option. All sessions are limited to the app. We do have a support ticket open with our development team in the hopes we can add that feature. I am sending you a private message to gather additional details.

  • Any updates on this? Would love to visualize data on a full-size screen (e.g. a table showing all parameters of all shots at once, instead of just Carry Distance, Total Distance, Carry Deviation, and Total Deviation as in the iOS app) and ideally, be able to export the data.

  • Can you give the status of the development activities?

  • I really do believe it is an absolute disgrace, that Garmin has not solved two vital challenges regarding R10 session data by now:
    1) To EASILY download only the session data in a standard spreadsheet format and
    2) To offer a solution for analysis of ones own (multiple) session data at home on my computer.

A personal user has now (july 2022) made available such an analytical application for free use, but still Garmin has a 1995-solution for downloading session data - which may take days or weeks to complete.

So, either Garmin has to stop telling people "we are looking into this, but its complicated..." or get its act together.

  • What is the name of the application you referenced?

  • Hi Rob,  Is this ever going to get done as to be honest It's really poor that we still ca't do this.  We invest into products like this to help us improve our game and all that I can see happening is nonsensical app updates.  The real power in this device will only come when you can realistically analyse your golf and for that you want to be able to see and compare sessions side-by side and shot-by-shot.  You can't do this very effectively on a mobile device.  I should be able to review, edit, name, compare and analyse session in a web app.  Alternatively, can you let us know if there is a different app or solution we can use to do this as I'm starting to lose patience with this device.  I get a lot of people at my club asking me about the device and to be honest, at the moment, I don't believe strong enough in the device features to recommend it.

    Cheers, Scott

  • this seems like another massive missing feature. Garmin have already solved this for all the shot tracking...

  • Hello, we released Golf app version 2.10 for Android and iOS. This adds support for exporting driving range sessions as CSV files.
