Can you try clearing the cache for the Golf app? This would be done through the app settings on your phone. You can refer to your phone's owner's manual.

hi Rob, I've just tried that. The app is not crashing now, but all the videos have disappeared. The video icon shows against the shot, but when I drill into it, it says video not captured.

Can you provide some further assistance on this please as this is a continuing problem. I have deleted and installed the app a number of times and deleted videos. Works OK for a while , but then starts crashing again. I'm using a Samsung a51 with the lattest os.

Hello Rob, I am on 2.3. Reinstall works but I have to keep doing it and lose setting. I'm pretty sure this is video storage related. If I look at the app storage when I reinstal it is just over 200MB. After video sessions it increases and when it gets to around 400MB ish it starts crashing the app.
I've paid for the home hero subscription. Included in this is storage of videos in the cloud. I believe mine however are being stored locally in error. How can I get this checked out. By the way the app allows me to send a crash report to garmin when it happens. I've done this multiple times, so it should be able to be debugged.

Yes I've tried that a number of times but doesn't have an effect. I'm looking at the storage now. The App is 256MB, Data is 54.27MB and the Cache is 6.45.
As I use the video more the Data will grow - when the total (now at 326 MB) starts to get to about 400MB, it will start crashing the app. The only way to rectify is to 'clear data' in the storage or uninstall/ reinstall. neither of which is a good solution since I use all data including settings. The point is that I don't think the data should be filling that quickly on my phone if the video is suppose to be in the cloud with the paid subscription.

Driving range sessions used to be upload to the 'Garmin Cloud' but are now only saved locally.
Maybe videos aren't upload anymore too. Did you try to install Garmin Golf in other phone/tablet.
Could you see the videos in the others devices?
I'm still experiencing the same thing.
Version 2.8, tried to empty cache, reistall with no luck.
Samsung galaxy fold z3.
I crashes in both landscape and upfold.
