Hello! With the release of the Approach R10, we have a ticket open with our developers to optimize the app for tablets. I would be happy to add you to that ticket. I am sending you a private message.
…You have to be kidding me. There are a million apps that work on Android tablets and your telling me your software developers can't get the newer version of the Golf App to work. Seems to me you need…

Please add me to this ticket. Surely Garmin can fix this by now for Android tablets
didn't work together with the R10 Launchmonitor
Hi.
The workaround has been mentioned before in this thread.
I had the same issue on an old Lenovo tab running Android 7.
The solution is to download the Garmin Golf apk outside of Google Play, and install it yourself.
Works without any issues on my Lenovo tab, and I actually have more issues with my phone and Garmin R10, than my tablet and R10.
Why Garmin can not make the apk downloadble on their official sites is another question.
But with a google search You will easily find it
Add me as well, if I knew I would have to use this on a small phone and not my tablet I would not have spent all that money on the R10
So why don't You use the solution to download the apk Yourself?
If You're going to wait on Garmin Your tablet will most likely be useless before You get any joy out of it.
Your tablet will work with Garmin Golf app, but You can not get the latest version via Google Play.
Hello Garmin Rob.
The R10 is realesed quite a while ago and it seems nothing has changed regarding the app compatibility with android tablets.
I bought an Approach S62 for over 450 Eur and I think Garmin should be able to provide acceptable support for their high quality products...
Please give an update regarding that matter.
Greetings, Thomas.
Hello, not much has changed, this is still being considered and tracked by our development team. If anything changes, I will be sure to update the thread. I appreciate your continued patience.
Hi Rob, can we have a better update. Are they going to do an Android tablet version or not? They have added landscape mode to the phone app. How long can it take senior app developers to port from phone to tablet?
