Still freezing after the EULA screen. Tried it out on my sons Iphone and app loads and works with my account all the time. I'm not changing my Samsung technology!
Can you check your personal email. I sent you an email requesting additional info and never got a reply. Once I get that piece I can pass this along to our engineers.

After months of trying different things sending reports to Garmin etc. I have finally got the app to work by uninstalling, reinstalling and reregistering a new device and a new Garmin Connect account. My old device Vivoactive 1 is still functioning but the data seems to be incompatible with the Garmin Golf used by Vivo Active 4. I now have to jockey back and forth between two accounts to use my Garmin Connect and be able to access new data and old.
Recently Garmin sent instructions that solved the two issues I had (my local course where I live would not load and Garmin Golf had stopped working with my account).
We have released an update for the Garmin Connect App that will resolve the issue with golf courses not loading to your vivoactive HR. Please remove all downloaded golf courses from the Garmin Connect App. Then, update the App to the latest version of 4.45 (this can be done on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, depending on what phone you have). Once that is complete, please then re-download the golf courses and sync your device to load the courses properly.
Following these steps I was able to load my local course on the VivoActive HR again. The new version of Connect also triggered access the new version of Garmin Golf without losing my old rounds. So all is working well with the exception of losing the connection between Connect and the HR a few times for no apparent reason.
I've had to hard reset both and re-download the courses. I chalk that up to gremlins beginning to show up in an old watch that's been used hard. I don't expect Garmin to create patches on my device forever so will get a new watch next year.
