There are plenty of issues to comment on, here are some:

  • The web page is SLOW. Always. This creates lots of confusion, "is this working or not or am I waiting for something to happen?"
  • There are essentially no error messages when things go wrong. 
  • It's not clear what direction information sync between web - phone - Garmin device (I'm using a Inreach Mini 2) What is the priority direction?
  • Cleanup of data, messages, trails, tracks is not intuitive or clear, if I clean up on one of the three, what happens when syncing?

    Agree, Garmin Explore web is a non-intuitive, outdated and slow piece of junk. Performance is indeed abysmal, the user experience is something from the 90s, and it doesn’t even have feature parity with Explore app (courses anyone?). And Garmin doesn’t seem to care at all.

    As for sync directions, I believe it’s a three way sync between device, app and web. When editing something in multiple places, the change made the latest will be reflected after a sync.

    When you delete an item in one place, it will be deleted from the other places as well after a sync. So if you delete a track from your device, it will be deleted from the Explore app and from Explore web.
