Permanent connection issues with Explore Web page in Europe

The reliability of the Explore service (web and iOS) is poor,

the page does not load at all sometimes (like now)

yesterday loading of 19 waypoints is not completed even after hour

data is lost even the apps claim the data was synced

and so on

I've never seen it working smooth since I created account over 6 months ago, I am seeing 'reconnecting...' every couple seconds.

I cannot understand why Garmin doing this for critical infrastructure (the pages are used for inReach), it might be a (poor) joke, if it won't be dealing with human life (SOS, etc)

  • Agree, the Explore web and MapShare services has been very flaky the last couple of months. Poor performance, CloudFlare errors, connection timeouts, it's very frustrating. It almost looks like it started when they introduced the new inReach plans.

    I'm also from Europe btw, curious if this also happens for users from North America.
