POIs name truncated when imported

When importing POIs into Garmin Explore, the POIs names are truncated to 20 characters. Importing GPXs generated from BaseCamp, KMLs and KMZs by Google MyMaps are truncated independently of their origin. The curious thing is that when you generate a POI directly in Garmin explore, you can named it with 100 characters.

Has anyone been able to solve this limitation?

    Thank you for submitting feedback about this issue, it has been reported to the appropriate team. Due to the nature of this issue it may be a substantial amount of time before this issue is fixed.

    At this time we recommend either editing the imported waypoint(s) on the Explore site and adding the long name or making the waypoints directly on the Explore map page.
