What the heck is going on??

What the heck is going on with the web interface??

over the past week. it has

1) taken on average to 5mins too load explore.garmin.com

2)then taken around the same time to load  explore.garmin.com/Map

3) often fails too load my library/collections  even after 30 mins

and finally

.quite often am getting the 504 cloudflare error page

All these errors happen on any machine I use at home or work  so it is NOT a device or connection  issue. and as it was sort of ok up until around 5 days ago it again suggests it is a garmin issues

So what is causing this and why??

For a multi-Billion company that pushes their online ecosystem it has been getting shockingly worse and worse...

  • It was working here between 1500-1700. But now the issues are back.. Damn it..

  • Given the money they make each year they should have some of the best servers around....16million units sold last year, and extra 5billion+ profit on in 2023.. jeez if they took £10 that form each sale to pay for devs and severs thats still £160.00.00(over $207million) to pay for it all.. And yet it seems they don't bother...

  • Same problem here, without VPN and script blocking extensions...

  • facing exactly the same issue here, and also the annoying "loading" dial on the left, i thought something was wrong with my subscription as someone notified me that she couldnt track me while I had tracking on, very concerning.

  • It is working again.. Maybe the server. were overloaded. There is a new function on my Epix. You can now backup activities. Favorites and courses will come. They are grayed out. If now all devices with this function are syncing, it maybe causes a breakdown

  • I have a feeling it was related to v4 of the app... They pulled it from the store(it is now back but v4.04)  and things started working properly again.

  • rejoiced too soon. The problem is back.

  • just after they re-releasev4 of the app too... Hmmmmm

  • Glad to see you're all facing the same problems. Waiting for half an hour, still my data is not shown on my screen. Worked with Mapsource and Bascamp a very long time and was very happy with it. Last month i bought two new devices, Zumo XT2 and GPSMap 66i. Tried the Explore online version but that's very disappointing. So returning to Basecamp. I always worked with the Freizeitkarte OSM maps (only Europe) and the Garmin online maps are not nearly as detailed as the Freizeitkarte maps... So, sorry Garmin, back to Basecamp, no Explore for me...

  • Same for all Planning etc, Always has been done on Basecamp..   Explore is used for storing the routes and Pois/collections I create.. I use the web part to upload and verify my routes etc and then sync with the app so they are now available offline via my phone when out and about.. That way when in an area with no signal can still access my routes and collects and send them to my devices via Bluetooth..  That is where Explore comes in to use..for me
