Currently I am using 4 devices to send with field crews to record their tracks at different locations. My intended use is to create paths in garmin explore that I can then sync to the devices and collect recordings of the gps units tracks after they are finished. I am having issues with the devices creating multiple duplicates of every waypoint and route that I sync to them. Currently I have them all synced to one one map collection to dump their tracks, but I worry this is creating some kind of feedback loop that makes them sync everything to that collection and then that collection gets synced to the others, creating a mess of duplicates. I am trying to find a way to separate the information they send to explore vs. what explore gives to them, but am having trouble figuring it out.
