Disable sync for a track

I just got an in reach mini 2 for tracker purpose etc. On route, for navigation I use a gpsmap. For this reason, I don't want my tracks etc synced from web explorer to the inreach mini. On route, I'll enable 'starrt tracking' on the mini.

Now, in the explorer I uploaded a gpx made in plot a route. This shows on the map. I placed it in a collection for a specific date (I've two collections for two days). This way it's easy to see a route for a day for the home front (unfortunatly you can't add a 'show on date...' to the track). The collection isn't syned, I've set in reach mini to sync a specific collection 'received from gps'.

What is left, is to disable those 'triangles' on the track. If I'm correct you change the sync setting of the track via that two arrow button in web explorer. If you set it to disabled you'ld get dots. However this doesn't work. It keeps coming with the message 'you must perform a sync for your devices....'

someone know how to remove those triangles?

That link seems old. The circle is associated with inReach tracking, which is used with Mapshare. so others can see your progress while you're out in the field. These are transmitted point by point over…

They can't be removed, that's how a track is displayed. You can choose to not display the track, but if you want to display it, you will get triangles.

Oh, then I must have misunderstood the explanation on tracks which can and cannot be synced.If I logon, the tracks are briefly also with a dot per point, then become a triangle. Hence I search for this (https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=HwdKnp9JN42vQrM61lj1d6&productID=639433&tab=topics)

A triangle is associated with points which have been internally recorded in the device, and which you synch onto the Explore website. All of the points are synched at the same time.

I’ve had the same issue with the sync not disabling the triangles. Even after setting it to "disabled," the triangles still show up. Hoping there's a workaround for this,

It seems like the sync settings aren't updating as expected. You might want to try manually disabling the sync on the web explorer and performing a fresh sync afterward to see if it resolves the issue with the triangles.
