How to Export Waypoints from Garmin inReach SE+ on Garmin Explore Web

I have 200+ waypoints recorded on my Garmin inReach SE+ that I would like to export. I've synchronized the Garmin using inReach Sync and I see the data on Explore Web. However, I can only view the data as Track Points, which are for some reason connected to each other. My question is: Is is possible to export ONLY the waypoints? I've read that I can create a Collection with all the waypoints and export it that way, but I don't even see a button for adding or managing collections.

Any advice on how to achieve this?

Thanks!

  • Within Map page there is the Library (left hand side of screen), and within it is a Waypoints folder. When you synch the device to the webpage, your waypoints should upload to the Waypoints folder.

  • Thanks for your response! It seems like I don't have a Waypoints folder. On the left panel I see map filters and all the users right below it. Could it be that the waypoints are not being uploaded to the webpage?

  • Do you have a Professional inReach plan or a Consumer inReach plan?

  • Since the account is owned by the company I work for, I assume it is a professional inReach plan. Please bear with me - I have little to no experience with this and I've been tasked with managing our Garmins. I didn't realize that exporting waypoints would be such a task! I must be missing something...

  • Yes, I think you have a professional plan. I'm not familiar with them as I have a consumer plan. The good news is that Garmin tech support pays greater attention to people with professional plans, you should contact them. Within my Library there are folders for Waypoints, Routes, Courses, etc. When I synch the device to the webpage, any changes made on the device are updated on the webpage. You don't seem to have those folders and I don't know why not.
