Turn waypoints into a gpx file

Apologies if there is an answer to this elsewhere.

I am trying to work out how to turn a load of waypoints ( recorded on my inreach and now viewable on my map) as a gpx file so that I can share it or open it in other programmes such as google earth.

Hello 1203975You can export the data from explore.garmin.com for use as you mentioned. Please see Exporting Data From the Garmin Explore Website.

Have you made sure to try all the options for exporting data? You can export by date or by filtering data. You can also create a collection with the waypoints and should be able to export them from there…

Waypoints are in gpx format. If you want to draw a line connecting them, use the Route tool on the Map page, upper center. When you save the Route, it will also be in gpx format.

Thanks for your reply. I'm trying to export as individual points ..but so far it seems like this is not a thing.

Thanks for your reply. the link was helpful for exporting in general ... but does still seem to turn my folder of waypoints into a route. I just want to download a set of waypoints into a GPX or KML without making them into a route or track. Is this possible?

Have you tried to place all of the waypoints into a single Collection and export the Collection? I have an Apple Mac, so I can't export anything. I'm just guessing.

You can also create a collection with the waypoints and should be able to export them from there. Managing Collections on the Garmin Explore Website Map Page. Once its in the collection you can select to export that specific collection by using filters.
