Hide activities on the map

On the map how can I hide all other activities and just leave the one I want?  If I want to view the route of that one activity, I get other routes overlapping and it still looks like a 3-year old scribble drawing.

  • I think I figured it out... like everything else with garmin this process is counter intuitive.

under Library you should have something called Collections I named it test

    hit the Plus sign

    give it a Collection Name

select the Activity icon (figure stretching arms and legs)

click "Select All On Map" (make sure the very first box next to "Name column" has a check mark)

unclick the one thing/activity you truly want to see

    click Next

    click Save Collection

once it is created go back to Collection

Click on the eye ball of the collection you just created and cross off the eye-ball

navigate back to Library - click on Activities

search/click for the one single thing you were interested in seeing in the first place Face palm

then you will be able to see what you originally wanted, but!!! at this point you can start to turn off the eye-balls under Library to your liking to isolate what you don't want to see and strip it down to the very basic. play with each one at the time.

hope this helps. It is truly PAINFUL!

once you are done you can delete the Collections' item you just created without fear of losing all your Library items.

  • Thanks. They came back to me and said there is no way to only display a single activity. However, your workaround is the only viable option, but then you'd have to put the activity into a collection on its own.
