Missing track info after GPX import

I imported a GPX file into Garmin Explore Web, and the track is displayed in the web app (map tab) as follows:

As you can see, the distance traveled appears and is the only correct value, none of the other info (e.g. elev and speed) displays. In addition, the track start time is when I import the GPX file, not the actual start of the hike.

A portion of the GPX file is as follows:

You can see the GPX file is formatted correctly and contains the info missing in Garmin Explore Web, such as elevation & date/time. I've tried importing the GPX directly from a Strava export and also importing from Strava to Garmin Basecamp to Garmin Explore Web. Neither method shows the missing data in Garmin Explore Web.

Interestingly, the track map displays all the trackpoints, but none of the speed or elevation info. It appears as if the GPX import *only* reads the lat/long info from the GPX.

This occurs with EVERY GPX I attempt to import, regardless of the GPX's source app.

How can I successfully import the date/time and elevation data that is in the GPX file? The ability to read a common standard (GPX) should be simple as it's been around for a long time.
