Failure on importing waypoints to Basecamp from a gpx file generated by GE iOS

Hi,

I exported a collection containing 3 waypoints and tried to import the gpx file to Basecamp but received a message saying something went wrong with the file.

I opened the exact same file using Trackmaker and just saved it. Voilà! Basecamp read the file like a charm.

Clearly there is some incompatibility on gpx files generate by Garmin Explore iOS and Basecamp.

    Could be that there is some invalid data in the GPX file that is not accepted by Basecamp but is being (silently) ignored by Trackmaker. Without seeing the actual exported GPX it's difficult to tell.

    Did you contact Garmin support about it? Seems like something either Explore team could fix, or Basecamp team. Former seems more likely than the latter though, as Garmin has stopped development of Basecamp.

    to be honest no.

    so many bugs on GEM iOS and watches firmwares that I have no (almost kkk) hope any longer ...
