What options do I have for good maps with the Inreach Mini 2 and the Explore app? The maps I get for Svalbard / Spitsbergen are absolutely useless. I don't have any other units. Thanks for helping.

The inReach Mini 2 does not use maps at all. Without an Outdoor Maps+ subscription, the map layers available in the Explore app are Topo, Satellite Imagery, and Basemap.
While the inReach Mini 2 itself is not compatible with the Outdoor Maps+ subscription, you should be able to purchase a subscription in the Explore app as long as you have an Explore-compatible device…
