Cannot organize collections and courses in the new Explore

With the old version of explore, I used to be able to organize collections by using “select” to move courses and waypoints in batch from “current” collection (synced to device) to “archive” collection (not synced) and that way I was able to manage my data and keep my watch easy to use.

in the new explore version there is no batch option for collections and I have to do this one by one.

could you please please return the “select” option to collections?
I was it exists in the view outside of collections so it’s somewhere in the code.

  • as far as I remember, in 3.x there was no batch option in collections. There was a batch function for the unorganized elements. This function still exists. You can switch from all elements to  unorganized elements by tapping on the sorting menu. Then, at the lower end you can choose all elements or unorganized elements.

Now you tap on the three dots menu of an element and choose ok and the one element is selected. On the upper left you can choose select all.

When i want to do a batch processing with items in a collection, then I delete the selection and do the processing with the then unorganized elements. After then I make a new selection the name of the before deleted one. This I had to do in 3.x too.

EDIT: just recognized that batch processing is possible with all elements, but not within a collection.

  • I used to use batch operations within Collections a lot (Take out old courses from the collections synced with my watch, for example)

with that gone, it's much harder to clean up my watch, which is critical to be able to easily send a course to my watch and find it
