custom waypoints

Hello, are you meaning custom waypoint symbols? If so, you can change the symbol of the waypoint by selecting one of the pre-loaded waypoint icons in the app. If you are wanting to create a waypoint in the app you can do that as well Creating and Using Waypoints and POIs in the Garmin Explore App. 

I would like to create my own symbols. I understand how to create a waypoint in the app. 

Thank you for clarifying. That is not an available function for waypoints. 

I want the ability too make my own symbols not the ones garmin provides. This is a feature you can still do in the Base Camp software for MacOS and Windows. It would be great if I could use the symbols I created there in the Explorer app.
