Why doesn't Garmin start using Google maps on Explore app.Satellite images are 16 years old

I do see recent up-to-date Google satelite images when I select the "Aerial" layer in Garmin Explore Web (and you are on the forum for GE Web).

that's for web not app.App images are 16 years old based on new roads etc.
