What exactly are "Course Elevation" and "Map Elevation" when looking at the elevation profile for a course? I have a course that I used for backpacking and edited offline a few days ago. It now shows total Climbing Elevation of 431 ft for "Map Elevation", and 845 ft for "Course Elevation", or almost twice the ascent. The profile graph of course looks the same. I've found no doc that describes exactly what these are.
