Elevation Profile On Created Routes

Hi,

I'm in Australia and there seems to be a clear lack of available map option in the Explore app for AUS. I'm wondering if anyone else say in the US might be able to tell me something..

If i create a route in the Explore app for IOS ( no auto-routing which is frustrating ) i can view the elevation profile in said app but once synced to my Fenix 5 if i go to the the navigation section and select Courses then select the created course and then choose view elevation profile it says no elevation profile available.

Is this normal everywhere ? or is it due to a lack of map data/functionality due to my location ?

If i create a course in Garmin Connect Mobile for IOS i get both auto-routing and elevation profile.

Not really adding much to the discussion but... given that connect app can do auto routing and elevation profile and now w a better way to do course routing. I’m just using that instead. L

Hi Nikeow,

Thats pretty much what I be done now as well. It’s just a pain that if I want to transfer waypoints to the watch I have to do it through explore IOS app and then courses from Connnect app.

Same here in sweden.

Explore is useless. Better to use garmin connect. All you can do in explore can be done i gcm
