Garmin let me say thank you for this app. (short review and what i like)

sometimes it time to post not only problems.

so in short words: i use this app since the first day it was announced (for the Fenix 5x with beta firmware). what makes this app so usable for me:

+ completely offline usage: you can download maps from all over the world. you can transfer tracks, routes, and waypoints from and too your watch. (the only app where you can really create and save waypoints (saved locations).
+ when you're somewhere without internet connection. you can easily create your route. and get an idea of the ascent and track you have to go. and send it to your watch.
+ creating routes. i really like the navigation feature on the Fenix 5X. but i wish there would be point where i could turn on and off the navigation infos (tones) especially while hiking. i just wanna see how far i have to go, and how ascent is still infront of me. with creating routes instead of tracks, you have this feature. start the navigation choose the route and go. if you are off the course you still get the offcoure alarm (which you turn on and off, if you like), but not on every turn. this is great for me.
+ saving and looking at your activities without internet connection.
+ searching peaks and lakes on the map, set a waypoint and sent it to your watch. all offline and quick and easy.
+ save a waypoint with only having GPS coordinates. (just create anywhere a waypoint -> go to edit and correct the GPS coordinates)
+ creating collections: you can create a collection for example for a weekend or holiday trip. get all your tracks, routes and waypoints in it. and just sync it to your watch when you need it. when this trip is over, unmark the sync and its not your watch again.
+ view and hide collections. create a collection for your activities: for example hiking or skimo. add all your activities to this collection and show only this collection. awesome to look at it.

do i miss the function of auto creating a route from point A to B?
not really. there are so much apps and options to make this happen and send it to connect and transfer it to your watch. i like the simplicity of taping point to point.

is there something i miss?
yes there is one point that i really can't understand. but not in the app it's on the webpages. why the *** am i not able to change the elevation contour lines from feet to meters in webpages? it would be so great to look at activities on a big screen when i am on a computer again. and why can't i see the elevation profile of the activity in the webpage.
both is possible in this small iOS app.
but this is really the only point i can complain on garmin explore
