How can I connect the eTrex Touch 35? It is currently shown as incompatible.

Connect to what? If you mean the Explore app it's not compatible https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB/GB/p/614327#devices

I know that it is officially not compatible. But the Fenix 5 e.g. is also not but I can use it anyway. My question is whether the eTrex Touch 35 can perhaps be used anyway or become compatible.
