No activity syncing to Connect after installing Explorer

Recently got an Inreach mini 2 and subsequently installed both the Explore and Messenger app on my android device.  Ever since then, no activity will sync with Connect, they only show up in Explorer and I have to manually take the fit file from the watch and add it to Connect.  This is extremely frustrating as none of the health data shows within Explorer.  Process i am doing is Start activity on watch (Fenix 5X) > Load course > Save and finish.  This used to sync everything to Connect, and now nothing.  Is there something else i should be doing to get this back to how it was?

  • Check if your watch is still correctly paired to the Connect app on your phone. Or try pairing the watch to the Connect app again,

    Explore is its own ecosystem so anything synced through Explore will not go to Connect.

  • Appreciate the help!  Device is still in Connect but after finding the logs there were some sync issues, but strangely it managed to sync an activity yesterday with no problems and with no changes by me... hoping it was just a transient issue but I'm wondering if i should remove the watch as a device on Explore so it cant see it at all, that _should_ stop any attempt at syncing activities to it right? 

  • You could try removing the watch from Explore to see if that helps. But it should work with being connected to both Explore and Connect apps.
