Track has straight lines and lines that appear to follow my footsteps exactly.

I start tracking, take off hiking, end hiking and turn off tracking and the track has straight lines and also lines that appear to follow my footsteps exactly. It also appears to be the same on the device (Mini 2). Is there a way to make it stop showing the straight lines and show my tracks exactly all the time? Thanks!

Hello, it sounds like you could be viewing tracks and activities at the same time on the map. What is your send interval set to and your activity set to? Getting Started With Tracking on an inReach Mini 2

Thanks for the link. Send interval is 10 min. The above image is with activity being the only item anywhere that is set to be visible. Tracking in device was set to standard but I am going to test now in the high detail setting. Thx

I set tracking detail to high and the yellow line that represents my path shows my exact path. I will try more tests.

I have tested 7 hikes with tracking set to high detail and none of them have had any straight lines, just the lines that follow my path exactly. It is working the way I would expect it to so my issue fixed. Thanks for the input.
