No activities showing on the Explore map

hi there,

I started to experience the following problem:

since two months ago I am unable to see activities on the Garmin Explore Map (both the app and the web don't show anything after the 22 of July)

The app says, everything is synced, but the latest activity on the list is dated 2 month old (I included a photo of the watch showing a random activity which is definitely there).

How do I get the latest activities to appear on the map?

    After reading topics where people having issues with Garmin Connect not showing the maps for the activities, part of my problem had the same remedy - hard restart of the watch (hold the ctrl button for 15 seconds until the screen goes off). 
    This enabled the new activities to appear on the Garmin Explore app. Sad enough I am still not able to sync any of the historical activities with the map. I am still opened to recommendations on how to achieve this?
