Hey All. I have a Samsung S21 and I installed Garmin Connect (4.58.1 non beta) and Garmin Explore (3.5 non beta).
Garmin Connect is my primary app to use of the Fenix 7x SS (running software 9.33 non beta). However adding in tracks to Garmin Explore and syncing with the watch in helpful.
Where I run into issue is with both apps being on my phone, Garmin Explore and Connect. They seem to contradict each other as to which will send phone notifications to the watch. Ultimately they end up canceling each other out is seems and notifications do not work for phone calls and text messages when both apps are on the phone. Regardless of permissions allowed for either app.
If I remove one or the other then all is well again, however I want to use both apps so its a bit frustrating.
Is there a way to make this stop happening, I have tried all manners of permissions allowed through the phone settings to no avail. Only removing one or the other application makes phone notifications resume on the watch.
Everything is up to date software wise, I have done a reset on the watch. Cleared cache on the apps, denied all permission for one app entirely, for each app after an uninstall and clean install again.
I saw someone else had this issue, those solutions did not work for me and the newest software seems to still have the same issue.
Is there an app anyone has used to upload tracks to their watch other than Explore?
