It is easy to start the navigation to a point using the Garmin Explore app by selecting a place on the map and simply tapping on Go. However, I would like to start the navigation to a point that comes from another app.
My use case is that I'd like to go Geocaching with my device and navigate to a Geocache or a stage of a multi cache. So in some cases, I don't have the coordinates that I want to navigate to, before I start my tour. So I can't prepare everything by importing a GPX file at home.
The app I use for Geocaching allows me to start the navigation to a point by using any app that can be used for navigation - e. g. Google Maps or Komoot. Garmin Explore is not in the list of those apps although it can be used for navigation.
Has anyone managed to do so? That would be such a sweet workflow out there in the woods, just sending a location to Garmin Explore and the watch starts the navigation to that point.
