Still my Activities on Fenix 6 are not in sync Garmin Explore...

I've all the Apps and sw at the latest versions both on my PC Windows 10 and Device (Fenix 6 Pro, i.e. Explore, Connect etc..), Connect is ok, device is ok but again Explore has gaps and some activities aren't there, now it stopped to 30Dec...I miss the whole November 2021 as well...so weird... I read I should reset everything...that's madness ! I can't even find how to properly backup my Fenix 6 setup ... i don't want to waste +1 day to play with these stuff honestly...

  • Unfortunately I can only contribute by telling you that you are not alone with this problem. Also for me, Explore syncs activities for some time and then suddenly stops.

On top of that, I only have an approximate 30% success rate of connecting my Fenix 6x to the Explore App. In most cases, i need to remove and re-add the device to make it connect again.

  • so... shame on Garmin, very good at hardware and amateurs with software... I hope they'll invest on developers and overall in their  ecosystem since the competition is fierce... I'm happy with my Fenix but the software and app side of things from known competitors is really appealing...

software is amateur since the installation phase..

I hope someone at garmin is carefully reading what we users say here in this forum and take action.

  • Nobody from the Explore 'team' interacts here or implements suggestions in any meaningful way.

Explore exists so Garmin can say it exists. Beyond that, they pretty much don't care. Without Google Play Services, any kind of import or export on Android is totally impossible - while any one-person-side-project enables this kind of functionality, but not for the proprietary Garmin phone-watch protocol.

BaseCamp and USB is the only tool which really works.

It's all a frustrating joke. Especially considering Garmin's turnaround last year.

  • I'm very disappointed on the whole garmin ecosystem for what concerns software, there is poor logic as if the developers don't talk to each other to make them working seamless. Still I love the hardware I keep it but I can't swear I won't be looking around for alternatives..
